The cycle of portraits of my daughters was created on a circular loom. The choice of this technique is essential. The warp stretched across the circle forms intersecting diameters that meet at the centre, establishing a point of tension and balance. The weft is carried outward from this central point — meandering, circular threads build a structure that becomes a metaphor for repetitive biological and existential processes. The individual image intertwines here with the universal rhythm of birth and disappearance.
